We’re creating a safe space to discover, unlearn, and feel at home while talking about the things that matter to YOU We want young people to live out loud and be the leaders of tomorrow. And the way to do that is by arming yourself with the knowledge you can use.
Aanya, a graduate from LSR, DU, is a SUSI scholar & the co-founder of Girl Up Rise. She has also worked as a journalist with The Quint. She is the founding project head of Aaghaaz, a student-led social entrepreneurship project to empower women. She was also the Volunteer Coordinator for Pratisandhi, a student led NGO to create sexual health and awareness. Currently, she is interning at the UNESCO Cluster Office, New Delhi. An active member of the WICCI Anti Sexual Harassment Council Delhi, she wishes to make gender equality a reality.

Initially, beginning into the tech world of Game Development he had a keen curiosity about the change coding and tech can bring. The intro-to-ML workshop will give you a hands-on-approach to getting started with Machine Learning. As a beginner, we will introduce you to the field and give you an intro on various areas and subdomains within Machine Learning. This will be followed by an exercise where you will get to build your ML algorithm and run it on a dataset, live, step-by-step! This will cover the basics of some libraries needed like numpy and pandas, and then we will be building the classifier. We'll cover your questions and any doubts you may have. Anshita Jain is an incoming software engineer at Google India and has offers from Microsoft India (on-campus) and Amazon Dublin as well. She interned at Morgan Stanley last summer as a full stack developer and was DR1 in the COE department in 3rd year. Bhumika Bhatia is currently a senior studying Computer Engineering at DTU. She has interned at various organisations, including a smart-health start-up, assisted students at a coding school, and most recently at Microsoft. In addition, she has also been involved in research projects at Samsung Lab DTU and IIT Delhi. She is an upcoming SWE at Microsoft and is passionate about exploring the industrial applications of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing to build solutions for social good. Her projects range from building AI-based Mental Health Chatbots, deep learning for Medical Imaging, assistive NLP augmented Pseudocode-to-C applications, to Cryptographic escape rooms and Smart Emoji prediction for keyboards. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels and photography.

Mihir Ranjan is a 4th year student of Electrical Engineering at Delhi Technological University, currently working as a Hardware Intern at NVIDIA.He has worked on several projects including COVID-19 infection model analysis, Particle Swarm Optimization techniques and quadcopter simulations using MATLAB. He has also pursued a research internship in Superconducting Quantum Circuits in Nanyang Technical University, Singapore and is currently the captain of the Tech Team DTU AUV and the winner of the Smart India Hackathon, Hardware Edition, organized by Government of India.

Dhairya Nagpal is a contemporary traditional and digital artist with more than 12 years of expertise who is influenced by the surrealism art style. He launched his art store in 2020. (Dhairya Nagpal Store-DNS) with the goal of making a substantial contribution and a intangible impact through his work. He also founded "Specurate," a student-led non-profit organisation dedicated to making an impact, changing lives, and uplifting communities through art, in 2021. He was the driving force behind the first project, "Art For Covid," which aimed to raise funds for the COVID crisis, Lockdown 2021, through art. In less than a month, the effort had reached over 300,000 people. He began uploading images, time-lapse videos, and tutorials of his artwork in 2016 in the hope of making an impact and sharing his skills with the world. Today, He has over 20,000 followers and has over 100,000+ views across all platforms, covering advice, tutorials, time-lapses, blogs, artworks, art shops, and almost everything else connected to the world of art.

She is a tech genius and is interested in coding and web development. She currently serves as the Vice-Chairperson of IEEE DTU. We look forward to having you in this insightful workshop where you will learn about front-end and back-end Web Development and the fundamental skills required. The participants will get hands-on experience on a practical Web Development project to kickstart their career in this field.

Nimisha Singla, a passionate dancer, is a trained in Bharat Natyam for over 15 years now. She has been learning the classical dance form from Guru Smt Rashmi Raut Jaiswal since the tender age of 5. She has given multiple national and international performances as a member of Natyakalpa and presented her Arangetram in 2019. Nimisha also held the position of Vice President in the Indian dance society of DTU - Nrityangana for 2020-21. Nimisha is always expanding her vocabulary of dance and is currently learning Latin forms like Salsa and Bachata.
A professionally trained Kathak dancer, Riddhima Jain has been dancing over the past 15 years. She started learning dance at the age of 6 under the guidance of Mrs Veena Sharma and then Mr Hemanta Kumar Kalita. She was also the recipient of a dance scholarship offered by CCRT (Government of India). She gave her solo performance in 2020 under her guru Mr Hemanta Kumar Kalita. Riddhima was the president of the Indian dance society of DTU - Nrityangana for the year 2020-21. She has been a part of various national performances most of which have been telecasted over the TV on channels like DD National. Riddhima loves to explore and learn different dance forms!
